Silver Cup Lavatera - Seeds
Latin name: Lavatera trimestris
The lavatera is an annual plant that is very easy to grow and is covered with pretty flowers throughout the summer reminiscent of those of the hibiscus. It grows into a 60-80 cm tall bush. Lavatera is a very beautiful plant which blooms until the first frosts and which often reseeds itself from one year to another.

Sow: For a longer flowering period, sow indoors 4-8 weeks before the last frost.

Soil: Poor. Maintain soil at 21°C or higher. (It will grow in richer soil but it will produce lush foliage with few flowers)
