Mauritania Mallow - Seeds
Latin name: Malva sylvestris var. mauritiana
The Mauritiana Mallow is an old favourite and very easy to grow! It reseeds herself. Perennial in zones 5-6, it is grown as an annual in colder zones. Its flower is a beautiful fuchsia pink with darker purple stripes and it blooms for a very long time. Ideal for pollinators and hummingbirds who will enjoy the many flowers. Don't hesitate to use the blooms to decorate your dishes, this plant contains a powerful bluish pigment!
Sow: Sow direct in the garden as soon as the risk of frost has passed or for earlier flowering, sow indoors 4 weeks before transplanting.
