Parsnip 'Hollow Crown' - Seeds
Latin name: Pastinaca sativa var. hallow crown
Old variety that produces large diameter and long roots, up to 12 inches in length. Young and tender, the roots are delicious raw; in a salad or grated with oil and lemon. Also excellent in soups, stews, stews and vegetable dishes. You can also use it mashed, sautéed, or in fries. The gel enhances the sweet and delicate flavor of the nut.
