Seafeed Plant Formulation is a biostimulant plant supplement that will boost your soil health, improve fertilizer uptake, and help your garden thrive. It is a 100% organic and natural plant superfood, hand-harvested by local farmers on the beaches around Tignish, PEI. Seafeed is a meal made from Atlantic red and brown seaweed:
- 50% Furcellaria lumbricalis – “Fufu”, earthworm algae
- 25% Chondrus crispus - Irish moss
- 12.5% Fucus vesiculosus - Bladderwrack
- 12.5% Laminariaceae - Kelp*.
The diversity in this blend makes it more potent than kelp meal, while the flaky texture allows nutrients to be slowly released throughout the growing season.
Instructions for use
To get the best performance from Seafeed, here are the recommended usage tips:
- Vegetable gardens and flower beds: Incorporate 1kg per 9.3m² (100sqft) twice a year.
- Transplants: Add one teaspoon per hole and mix lightly with the soil.
- Bulbs: Add a tablespoon per hole and mix lightly with the soil.
- Potting Mix: Mix two tablespoons per gallon of soil.
- Houseplants: Lightly incorporate one tablespoon per six-inch pot or gallon of soil, up to twice a year.
