Shea Butter and its many uses
Shea butter is well known to everyone, this natural product being used since the dawn of time (or almost!) by women in sub-Saharan Africa in particular.
At Julie's garden, we use fair trade shea butter in many of our cosmetic products, such as in our soaps and in our solid conditioner. But it's also a zero-waste toiletry bag essential, because shea butter is a versatile product that can serve you from head to toe.
Shea butter to nourish all parts of your body!
To be used without moderation on your body, to nourish and protect it, especially in this period of winter cold. You can take a small dab of it and warm it between the palms of your hands before applying it. Whether after your shower on your body, in the evening directly on the skin of your hands damaged by the daily use of hydroalcoholic gels, or on your perhaps rough heels, shea butter is suitable for all these uses.
Shea butter to repair weakened skin
We all have times when our skin can be drier, either with sun exposure, or the appearance of cracked hands, or even eczema. Thanks to its anti-inflammatory properties, shea butter helps soothe the skin.
An ingredient to deeply nourish your hair
Your hair, whether curly, frizzy, straight or wavy, may also need nourishment. Whether it's to counter the damage caused by the use of heated appliances or by the sun and salt water, your hair will thank you!
Shea butter is used in the composition of our conditioner , but you can use it pure, as a mask on weakened lengths or ends only before your shampoo.
